Sweet Iron Snaffle
Our very popular colt bit shank with a sweet iron snaffle mouth. This bit is
an ideal step up from a ring snaffle during the training process used with
young performance horses today. It offers a loose shank sidepull with large rein rings for lighter control.

port which gives flavour in the horse's mouth and full contact.

3" dee, 5" three piece mouth with dog bone and copper roller in the centre. The use of brass bushings between the dee and the mouthpiece makes for a smoother movement and eliminates pinching. The copper roller promotes salivation for a softer mouth and relieves boredom at the same time.

Double Twisted Sweet Iron and Copper Snaffle
The offset dee gives equal pressure to the top and bottom lips, gums and mouth. Everyone agrees that copper or sweet iron will produce saliva in a horse's mouth giving the horse a soft mouth with better feel. These two metals together give an even more moist, soft and sensitive mouth.
